My best friend Betsy’s teenage son Alex got a ticket for driving under the influence of alcohol. He did a dumb thing and he is very lucky he was not hurt or that he did not hurt anyone else. Betsy hopes he learned his lesson. In all the mess, they received notice that his auto insurance rates had doubled. Betsy panicked and did not know what to do. Her friend Sally told her to go on the Internet and comparison shop for rates to find a good deal. She did this and was able to find a rate that they could live with.
